Conference on Emergency Preparedness for People with
Disabilities

The Conference is sponsored by The National Capital Region with the
support of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security in partnership
with the National Organization on Disability. The September 22-24
Conference will build on recent commitments by government and
community leaders to increase national awareness about the unique
emergency needs of people with disabilities in disaster preparedness,
response and recovery.
